About Us
Ryancare is a progressive agency with a dynamic staff team of 6 fully qualified social workers. Based in Wanstead, East London, we have a vibrant fostering community of carers from wide and diverse experience and backgrounds. Ryancare prides itself on its "Outstanding" rating by Ofsted and is justifiably proud of its achievements.
Fostering is recognized as a challenging profession and Ryancare prides itself in providing excellent training opportunities. This includes monthly training sessions, monthly support groups, CWDC, on line training programmes, personal training dependant on individual needs and support from their supervising social worker. With such a robust process of knowledge, we are building our foster carer pool in to experts in their approval range, acknowledging that this is an ongoing process.
Ryancare is people focussed and for this reason we pride ourselves in our professional staff team available to our carers 24 hours a day.
Managing Ryancare is Neil McCarthy, a qualifed social worker with over 20 years expereince in the field. Neil is committed to the care of children and young people and has the highest standard in professional practice.
Along with Neil, there are a further five qualified social workers here to assist you in every aspect of fostering from your intial enquiry, through to a child being placed with you.
Assiting Neil and his team of social workers are our excellent admin team. Managed by Janet Cook, they are often the first person you will speak too. They will make you feel welcomed during your first contact with us and will assist you as much as possible.
