Rated OUTSTANDING again by OFSTED

Ryancare are pleased to announced it's second Ofsted inspection in a row where we are OUTSTANDING.
An Ofsted inspector visited Ryancare offices in December and after a thorough inspection of files, meeting children, staff and foster carers were given the coverted "Outstanding" rating.
A huge thanks to all carers and staff who have once again proved that we provide outstanding outcomes for the children we are caring for.
This is a marvellous way to end 2011 and begin a new year, knowing that we are providing some of the best care to children and young people. We were measured on outcomes for children and the care you have provided have seen some fantastic outcomes and results for children over the last twelve months. The easiest to evidence are children’s academic achievements; however, there are much more subtle outcomes that have genuinely improved children’s lives.
This may simply be a child going to school, or saying thank you, sitting at a table and eating a meal, or engaging in contact with family members. We have children moving on to adoption and also being adopted by our carers and we have young people in place with their carers since they were young children and we now see them mature into young adults as they prepare to move on to independence. I can give you many more examples, but in short, the care we give children today provides for their tomorrow and I am always mindful of the smallest things can have the greatest impact on their lives.
I am minded by the quote “children are one third of our population and but 100% all of our futures”. This is an important aspect to remember and what we do today will have a lasting legacy on the children we care for.
